It can be quite confusing, and when to use one over the other is not obvious.Lets first talk about Updating a Distribution Point: Here’s a scenario: You have created a new package for an application in which you have changed some source files.A distribution point can have 4 different configuration status (Success, In Progress, Warning and Error).As soon there’s an issue, the warning or error icon will appear.You can detect noise trends on the status and numbers of state messages (Errors, Warnings, Information) in this section.

In this post, we will explain the best ways to monitor distribution points sush as: The first check you can do when analyzing some distribution points is to view the configured settings like HTTPS or HTTP, PXE, fallback, pull, internet-client based, cloud or on-premises and many more.
